Classroom Guidance: We visit all classrooms on a rotating basis. We see students in each class every other week. Please ask your child what they have learned!
Student Council News! This year we will have a representative from all homerooms in grades 3-5. Our main goals for the year are a community service project, a fundraiser for a chairty (philanthropy project) and a citzenship education project. Last year we earned a No Place for Hate designation that was directly linked to our citizenship education project. The student council reps participated in anti bullying "public service" announcements on the morning news and will complete another project in the near future. Stay tuned!
Rainbows groups will be offered in the fall for students who have recently gone through a divorce or other significant change in their family. The groups ran from 6-8 weeks and met for 30 minutes once a week.
Red Ribbon Week this year is October 24th-28th. See attached list of daily participation activities.
Angel Tree- What a compassionate school community we have. In December of 2015 KSE families donated close to $5,000 dollars to help other KSE children and their families. We look forward to this project in 2016!
